Questions
What is seasonal color analysis for pets?
It's the same method stylists use on people: we read four things about your pet's coloring (warmth, lightness, richness and contrast) and match them to one of 12 color seasons. Each season has a palette of colors that flatter that coloring.
What do you look at in the photo?
The main coat color and any markings, the eye color, and the nose pigment. A liver or brown nose reads warm, a black nose neutral, and blue eyes cool, just as skin undertone, hair and eyes do for people.
What's the best collar color for my dog?
Pick the color from your pet's palette with the strongest contrast against the coat, so it pops in photos. Your results list a collar, harness, bandana, leash and bed color picked for your pet.
Can my dog see the colors?
Dogs see mostly blues and yellows. The palette is about how your pet looks to people. We also flag the shades your dog can see well, which is handy for toys.
